Most importantly, we strive for an open government that remains truly accountable to every citizen.

The Role of Constitutional and Electoral Reform

These foundational goals can only be realized if our democracy is anchored by a progressive constitution. A modern constitutional framework is essential to protect the fundamental rights and freedoms of all people. By implementing inclusive and transparent electoral laws, we can guarantee that women, young people, and persons with disabilities have a meaningful voice in the decision-making processes that shape our country.

Taking Action

Now is the time to make a difference. We are at a historic turning point as we lead The Gambia toward a Third Republic. It is up to every citizen to speak up and make their voices heard. We must reach out to our elected officials—including National Assembly members, local government authorities, and community leaders—to demand the constitutional and electoral reforms necessary for a prosperous and inclusive future.
